The trailer gives us a glimpse into the overall storyline of “Soul,” which follows middle school band teacher, Joe Gardner, on his quest to fulfill his life’s purpose, jazz. “I think Joe is having that crisis that all artists have,” director, Kemp Powers, said, according to The Walt Disney Company . “He’s increasingly feeling like his lifelong dream of being a jazz musician is not going to pan out and he’s asking himself ‘Why am I here?
